after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in music and journalism from eugene lang COLLEGE FOR LIBERAL ARTS AT THE NEW SCHOOL, WEISS began WORKING at bullett media, where she remained editorial director until the magazine closed in 2018. from there, she took on the role OF digital director at office magazine, EVENTUALLY MOVING INTO THE ROLE OF MANAGING EDITOR UNTIL MARCH 2022. WEISS also workED as the features editor at oyster magazine and SINCE 2016, HAS WORKED as a freelance writer, Editor, creative director AND producer with work published in several MAJOR publications, including interview magazine, i-D, DAZED, HYPERALLERGIC & the new york times. LAST YEAR, WEiss’ story, ‘you will pay to be humiliated,’ was a front page feature for the new york times’ sunday styles and was handpicked by times’ editors as a feature in the weekender, a showcase of the paper’s most popular stories.
From 2020 through 2022, She also SERVED as the Editor in Chief AND DIRECTOR of A Woman’s Right To Pleasure, an art book Featuring over 75 of the world’s most influential womxn artists, EDITED, PRODUCED AND CURATED BY Weiss. to coincide with the release of the book, SHE co-hostED the A Woman’s Right To Pleasure podcast with Stoya. in 2022, weiss served as editor in chief for the book’s second edition, published in partnership with sotheby’s. an exhibition, which opened in july 2022 at sotheby’s in los angeles, was curated and produced by weiss. the project has received widespread media attention with features in The Guardian, LA WEEKLY, Dazed and Vogue Italia, among others.
in 2022, Weiss graduated with a master of arts in journalism from columbia university. She currenly WORKS AS MANAGING EDITOR AT INTERVIEW MAGAZINE.
